Warning Lights After Lowering With Novitec Springs

Warning Lights After Lowering With Novitec Springs
    Hi Guys,

I have Novitec springs fitted to my Performante. They are basically the KW HLS springs which are made for a lot of performance cars, in case you were wondering.

My issue is that after a couple of days I now have a warning on my dash saying the lift system has failed and the icon then shows in red on the display. It then reminds me of this every time I exceed 45mph with a 'ding' noise.

Surely people aren't tolerating this on a daily basis? I'm not sure this is a Performante specific issue, but I don't see why the lift would be any different to a regular Huracan.

    What do I do?

    Thanks
    Rob

Thank you for people who have PMd me, very helpfully. For anyone looking at this thread at a later date, the issue affects all Gen 2 Audi R8s and, of course, the Performante which have sensors Huracans previously didn't have. As with annoying things like the Performante having different wheel bolts to other Huracans, you could say the Performante is effectively a 'facelift' car with a number of detail changes.

In short, if you get a Performante lowered you MUST get modified brackets for the air lift sensors to stop them going crazy when they notice a lower ride height. Otherwise your lift won't work, which is obviously exactly what you don't need when you've slammed your Perf

It takes about 5mins per side.
You can do it by your self.

Can you give a brief run down on how to install the ghostlinks?
