Supercharger ?
Hey guys
So I've been browsing the net for this and yet and came across a guy that supercharged his Huracan. 800bhp, now thats crazy.
I know I know, must will say why would you ? isn't 610 enough ? Whats the point you'll never use the extra blah blah blah.
BUT
For S&Gs..... what do we think about it? Hard to do? Expensive ? Upsides, downsides ?

Hey Wolf!
I've got nearly 60 Huracan owners that I can try and connect you to
if you want some first hand feedback.
While some would say "why would you?", or "what's the point?" this
ends up being one of those products that after you get the chance to
drive it, makes you wonder "why doesn't it come this way from
Lamborghini in the first place?".
I know that sounds like a sales pitch, but if you read the reviews and
talk to some of our VF800 owners, it's immediately apparent that the
product delivers in every imaginable way by transforming and already
impressive supercar into a proper hypercar contender with just one
single upgrade.
Sure, there are higher power forced induction options available that
are impressive in their own right, but ours is the only option that adds
power in a way that doesn't compromise the linear and predictable
power delivery that makes the high revving 5.2L V10 engine special
in the first place.
It's an incredibly elegant design with a build quality on par with what
you would expect for a $300K+ vehicle, and there's a reason why you
can find at least a dozen twin-turbo options around the world, but still
only one fully engineered, turn-key, direct bolt-on supercharger option!

I seriously considered it but ended up upgrading on the Performante
My dealer though I was nuts wanting to get more power but I came out a 1100+ rwhp GTR and now the lambo feels slow as a Prius

A 900+ horsepower Performante will completely eliminate
the disturbing comparison to a Prius!
It will still not be 1100+ rwhp "fast" but it will absolutely be "quicker"
under most circumstances up to 130+ horsepower.
No LAG + DCT quick gearbox + the superchargers immediate and linear boost
is a ridiculously potent combination!

Full disclosure, the GTR absolutely had the higher trap speed at the end of the
1/2 mile, but the Huracan had the better ET every time!
That's the difference between straight line power, and truly usable power - all day every day.

Interesting thread, if you ask me the only thing i would mods to a Performante would be a supercharger kit.
Did you know that this VF kit only takes three days to be installed?

I have TT'd (1300hp) and supercharged this engine. And I'm a big supercharging fan for the 5.2. I feel like it's the best compliment to these low torque-high rev engines. It makes what's weak about these engines strong, and what's strong about them stronger. All while feeling like a Lambo, driving like a Lambo, sounding like a Lambo, and being down right mean down low.
