So here are the steps:
1. Plug in OBD2 device
2. Download Carista and pay for a 1 week subscription.
3. Open the app
4. Click on "customize"
5. It will take a minute or 2 to read the ECU.
6. After the meter hits 100%, click on "lights"
7. Enter my settings.
Make sure your auto headlights are on.
I strongly recommend writing your settings down before making changes.

Wow - that was above and beyond. Thank you!
My Carista thing arrives tomorrow. It's a small thing, but I can't wait. Can't stand not having something that the later Huracans have, hahaha.
Thanks, bbywu - MUCH appreciated!!! Thank you for taking the time to put the DIY instructions together!__________________________________________________

No problem. If you have problems, post back. Again, I'd write down your settings before you change them. And for the setup to work, you have to have the auto headlights set to "on."
There are a few other tricks it can do, including the side marker settings, etc.

I finally had some time to get this done. THANK YOU bbywu!!! Your instructions were perfect, and worked flawlessly. I bought and used the Carista OBD2 interface - they were offering a free months' subscription, so it was a no-brainer.
Less than ten minutes after I plugged it into the OBD port, I had not only coming home and leaving home lights, but I was easily able to configure other little things that I preferred, over the standard settings.
Best bang-for-the-buck mod that I have done in a very long time! Just having the coming home/leaving home lights was worth the purchase!
Thanks again bbywu!!!__________________________________________________

Great thread and very useful indeed. I got the carista too.
When you activate follow home lights is it the DRL that comes on or the headlight? I only get the headlights.
Also are all configurable options accessible through Carista or are there any other apps you guys can recommend that unlock more configuration options?
Thanks in advance.

That’s what I am getting too. Wondering the same thing if I can get the DRL to light up as well.

I managed to figure it out! I have a 2015 LP610-4. Using Carista, I was also only able to get the "low beams" to turn on and not the DRL Led's like the newer Huracans.
The solution is to use a more advanced coding software VCDS. This is what I bought (VCDS & VCDS-Mobile with HEX-NET Enthusiast | Ross-Tech). They did not sponsor me. Most shops have this software, so you can ask around to get access. I'm sure that other software like OBD11 would work also.
The instructions for VCDS:
1. Open Controller (09-Cent.Elect.)
2. Click “Coding”
3. On the new window, press the up arrow until “6” [seen in the screenshot below]
- “Check” Coming home light
- "Check” Leaving home light
- “Check” Coming/leaving home with side marker/parking light active
- “Check” Coming/leaving home with fog lights active
4. Close the window and click “do it”
(I had my engine running because I live in a condo, otherwise the battery would die)
Here is what this looks like in action:
