Dont Rev To Much / DownShift Cause Engine BLOW ???

    Hey me again everyone.

First off thank you all so much for being such a cool community & cool people. Really glad I joined & sorry I post a lot but I'm young & this is my first lamborghini & I want to make sure I'm doing things rite & nothing wrong haha.

So today I took the new Mantis Huracan "Kryptonite" to a car meet & rev'ed a few times for people & some guy said "man you have balls revving it like that with only 600 miles or at all really as lambos blow engines easy & you do not want to blow one. Don't rev it really ever & don't down shift to much"

Now is this correct? I definitely don't want to hurt my car but I love the sound & ppl always ask to rev it lol.

Also feel free to follow my instagram & see cool pics of it & my other stuff & if you all have one link me!!

    Congrats beautiful specs!

I can say you one thing, shift all long as you want or not, this car is so strong after i pushed this hard for now 10k miles.
The only thing you must check if you push hard is the oil, huracan like to eat a lot of castrol

I would say break it in as specified but I would be lying if I was that patient. It's not like a manual car where you can miss shift and over rev. You try to downshift to first at 100mph and it just won't do it. EVILR is correct. Like most direct injection motors you will need 1/2-1 quart of oil in between oil changes.

Thank you all for the input. So revving while in neutral or parked is also fine?

Also I was wondering about the oil I'm sure it needs to be topped off in between oil changes & my dealer is 1 hour away I hate to go all the way there just for them to top off the oil lol. Do you all just keep a big bottle of it ready & top it off yourself or is that not even possible? If so what exact oil brand & type do I need to look up & order? Link to it? That is what I used to do with my old m6 as it used to go through oil like CARZY!

The "down-shift" concerns were related to the old e-gear. Shift away with the new Doppia Frizione

As for revving, I wouldn't rev the snot out of it while idle and def not on a cold engine.
