More Lamborghini Huracan Variants On The Way!
"According to a report from Autocar, the Huracan family should continue to grow and could become bigger than the Gallardo’s lineup.
The report suggests Lambo will add at least five more Huracan variants in its lifecycle. The current lineup consists of four models including the Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo race car. The range launched with the Huracan LP 610-4 coupe, followed by the LP 610-4 Spyder, and the rear-drive LP 580-2.
Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann told Autocar multiple variants had been considered from the beginning of the Huracan’s development. And there’s room for more.
“We want to cover lifestyle, fun to drive, performance, high performance and race,” he told said. “It could be more than five derivatives over the life cycle. We have a lot of ideas that are already planned, but the more we think, the more things are coming up.”
Autocar suggests that the next model will likely be a LP 580-2 Spyder, but a high-performance model should also be in the pipeline. A Huracan Superleggera will likely join the mix, as Lamborghini has traditionally offered a lightweight version of past models including the Gallardo. Other possibilities could include a more powerful rear-drive model and a high-performance variant based on the Super Trofeo racer."

Dealers can't sell what they have now. Let's add more versions, lol.
Volkswagen has a long road ahead trying to rectify its diesel-emissions-related woes ($21 billion).....VW/Audi management has already announced they might pull the plug on (Winkelmann's, et al.) special editions folly.

New models? Car business? Every 6 months?
What would possess anyone to believe that is SOP?

There have always been plenty of versions with Lamborghinis
Aventador:
Standard + Spyder
50th Anni + Spyder
SV + Spyder
Pirelli
Gallardo:
Standard + Spyder
LP550 + Spyder
LP560 + Spyder
SL
Super Trofeo
That is already 15 "models" across just the Gallardo and Aventador. Not talking about the one offs, GT3, etc either. SL Huracan will not be an issue to sell out. VW has tons of GTIs/Golf Rs/ETC for sale, but every Farenheight, R Line, Anni, etc has all sold out insanely quick.
