Who cares which car holds better value.
Test all the cars you are interested in, buy it, enjoy it. That's all.

Exactly..... These type of cars are toys for those who can afford to play with them...If one needs to worry about the depredation, one should not have one... Life is short,it goes no good once you are in the Box...

I think a car with very little or none depreciation means It is highly sought-after but limited supply. At the end of the day, It makes the owners feel happy about their purchases.

Huracan is still fast as fuck.
Haven't tried the Aventador yet, is it even faster?

I was considering buying an Aventador end of last year, came really close to getting one. I saw Huracan on the floor and asked dealer to get a test drive, he told me: if you drive the Huracan right now, you will not buy the Aventador. Thats exactly what happened!
Aventador is a fat pig - handling not good, feels slower than Huracan, terrible tranny, feels massive on the road and no door pockets to put stuff. It does have a magnificent presence, scissor doors and I kinda like the exhaust note but that's about it.
Huracan is an upgrade in my book!

Why is Aventador slower if it's more expensive? Visually the Aventador looks meaner, but it's still a two seater so what advantages do you get to pay a few 100k more for an Aventador over Huracan.
But how do you convince a dealer for a test drive? Would pulling up in an M3 Lime Rock convince them I have the money? Or should I show them a bank statement that has more than $200k?
I've driven a Huracan before so I know what the car feels like. Plus the rental guy was willing to let me take this car on the freeway which he says he usually doesn't do if I wanted a 2nd run, but he offered the freeway because he trusted me. The instructor never got concerned and was fine with the way I was driving it, even though it was the first time taking a Lamborghini on public streets. First time I drove the Gallardo, I spun in out on a turn in a coned course.

You gotta know the dealer, come in an exotic car or my guess convince him that you are serious probably by showing proof of income or bank statement.
It just feels slower when you drive the Vent. Huracan is more refined, better visibility and much better tech. You just have to drive it to understand it.

There's always Aventadors being sold on Craigslist. I was hoping I could convince one of these guys to let me ride passenger at least, I would at least offer to buy lunch. Or if they just want cash, I'd be willing to give them $50-100 if I got a good 30-60 minute ride in their car.
My friend said her 20 yr old daughter is dating some guy who owns an Aventador, he's 25 but he works for his dad. So hard to say if he earned it or just because he works for his dad.
And this friend's dad used to own a 80s Lamborghini back in the late 80s.
