It's official, a twin turbo Lamborghini Huracan sets a new 1/2 Mile World Record of 238.6 MPH !! The Verde Mantis Huracan has a fully built engine with a twin turbo setup by Underground Racing developing around 2000 HP.
It's worth mentioning that the car runs on a sequential gearbox, NOT a double clutch gearbox as a stock Huracan does.
In future it's possible to see much better results once a double clutch transmission that can handle such high power levels will be developed.
One thing is clear, the Huracan is the best current platform for a high end horsepower application. Long Live the HuraKing!
