Can someone confirm that the redline actually goes 8700rpm and not just a tac display. Like someone take a cell phone video of it going to 8700rpm at least.

Again,it does not make any difference what the display says. The 15s Red Line on the display is 8500 RPM ,if the 16 s says 8700(I don,t know) that is just for show. All Huracans hit the Rev Limiter at 8250 RPMs and then the fuel shuts off/Period.All the Huracans scream at over 8000 RPM with that motor behind your head any way.It is actually not good to spin the Motor any more than necessary,as that is way more stress on the motors....Porsche learned a very expensive lesson with that with the new GT3s Ie Fires/Motors Coming Apart. That is why I bought to Turbo S for the daily driver instead of a GT3.

2016 I personally drove went up to 8700, and I personally saw it go to there. I do not have a cell phone video nor would I take one or have the need to prove this to anyone. I saw it with my own eyes so I am good with that. Believe what you want. Everyone is entitled to what ever opinion they want.

Yikes, you took that quite a bit personally there. Simply asked someone to confirm it. Shouldn't be that hard considering you have so many 2016 units sitting around and considering you have an instagram you are flaunting. Just haven't seen any published information stating it is raised from 8250 to 8700. Even the Spyder's technical printout states 8250....

Wait a minute ....
The Huracan's spec. sheet does not say the redline is 8250rpm. It states that 8250rpm is where maximum horsepower occurs.
The Car&Driver magazine spec. sheet shows that the redline (15MY) is 8500rpm, so it's absolutely plausible that Lexx is correct, and the 16MY has been raised to 8700.

Again,it does not matter, the power stops at 8250 RPM,so anything after that is just spinning the motor not making any more power.I do understand Lexx is a Salesperson trying to sell new cars, this is why he highlights improvements,as he should.I do appreciate this from him and hopes he continues this, but Lexx,do not take it personal if someone challenges you on the info if it is not correct.I sure will...Remember Lexx, this is all for fun and your dealership is on my short list for my next new Lambo and or Bentley.I buy new stuff all the time...
Time to let this RPM issue go.....
See ya at Sebring...

Agreed, I'm just trying to get confirmations. I'm sure many of you remember what a disaster launch the Huracan was where each piece of info was borderline rumors. One day you could get a carbon fiber engine bay without the window, next day you had to pair it, another day the cruise control was a dealer installed option and now it isn't, zero clarification between race exhaust vs a sport exhaust, etc.
