Pro's and Con's of Centerlock Hub/Wheels?
I'm thinking of doing this conversion. Anyone done it? What are pro's and con's?

PROS:
Looks clean
Might be lighter
EZ on\off if you're racing
CONS:
Limited styles and brands
May add weight due to center lock hub
Special tools required
You're probably not getting them off if u get a flat in the middle of nowhere, I do not think the hand wrench will fit in the boot, it's super long

I totally agree with Ferruccio. I think for a car that is tracked on regular basis it would make sense but for road use i do not see any benefit.

First they look amazing and i want to convert all of my cars. Second ask almost any Porsche owner with center locks, they can be a huge headache to live with.

I hate them on my 991/911 Turbo S...They are a pain in the axx for a street car...A track car only yes.. These wheels need to be torqued to over 400 pound per sq. ,had a tire issue on a rural road and I what a pain...Never Again for me....Do not get them for a street car...

Hopefully not,but you will just smile if ya get a flat in the middle of no were and you can just but take the lugs off and have it repaired and be on your way.Make sure you have the socket for the Lambo wheel with you in the car also. They do not come with the car. Garages will not have this either...Dealers have them, buy one if you do not have...
