The new model is more angular, with split side blade and incorporates some Audi RS elements. IMO, Exterior looks more aggressive. The main upgrade lays inside the car. I heard there are as many as 7 different driving modes. Engine sound has been tuned too. R8 plus owners always brag about it has lambo engine, but when Lambo parked side by side with a R8, all eyes will be on Lambo. R8 is still Audi. As Jeremy Clarkson once said: that s difference between a pair of stockings and a pair of leggings, they do exactly the same job, however one has more sex appeal, people drawn to it lol

That s the premium we paid for, the wow factor。 I have a 2014 R8, In my experience, Audi dealership uses R8 owners as cash cows , they try to rip me off every time with winter tyres, alignments, even labour cost is much higher than they charge for other Audi cars ( even more expensive than Porsche charges for labour). They claim they have R8 specialists working on the car. total BS . I will not be buying the new R8 plus, instead I ordered a Huracan a month ago..
