Quiet mode / closed valves on start-up for aftermarket exhaust

I’m thinking about installing an exhaust, but I had problems in the past with my neighbors. I had an Audi R8 with a Larini exhaust installed and always left the house pretty early. It was a valve system, but on cold start it just opened up to straight pipes (even my wife hated it) and I couldn’t overwrite it with the remote.

Is there anything out there to really keep it down on start-up and get the straight pipe sound when you want it? Can the vacuum solenoid controller be reprogrammed?

I would appreciate any help, the car just sounds to tamed!

No way to do that.
Your best option is to engage 1st gear or reverse right after cold start so the RPMs drop.
