What's a Lambo without the doors? Lol.

Kind of surprised they let McLaren just take that from under them on all their models.

Pretty soon they will be referred to as 'McLaren doors' instead of 'Lambo doors'.

Probably the most asked question I get on my Huracan Spyder when I get out is "How come the doors don't go up?".

I get it that a Lambo car aficionado knows, but it is surprising how many people ask.

I'll bet if Lamborghini offered it as an option that almost everyone would do it.

For those reasons, I understand the marketplace for it, but I don't understand it on other cars.......it's kind of like it's expected on a Lamborghini . JMO.

always thought the push out and up movement was unnatural

Also tends to have one side sag over time. Unless they fix that, eh....

maybe its improved...

If they gave me that option HELL yes i would of payed for it lol i woulda taken that over the glass engine bonnet if i had to choose 1 or the other

Im amazed that no 3rd party has come up with a way of doing it properly without having to open the door first.

Leave the vertical doors to the big boy Aventador. Gotta pay to play. The out and up mechanism is a fail IMO. I only find that people that don't know about cars ask about the doors.

People modify their cars in a zillion ways to make it different than stock. Aftermarket exhausts, side skirts, cf steering wheels, rims, different size tires, etc, etc.

This is just another modification. Some mods I like and some I don't. To each his own. I like this one.

I put the 'LaFerrari Bridge' as my center console on my 458 Spider.
No, I'm not going to wait until I have a LaFerrari in order to have it.

Here are side by side pics of a 458 center console stock, and a LaFerrari Bridge. I like the bridge way better.

I also put a glass back on my 458 even though they don't come with one stock. That's why Capristo makes them because their is demand.

No, I'm not going to go back to a 430 so I can have a glass back. :-)

Also pictured is stock 458 Spider back end next to after market glass back.

The doors fall into the same category as these. None of them is how the car comes stock.

The mods on the 458 and the doors on the Huracan are all reversible as well.

So do I. I would entertain the idea of getting them if they didn't open out and were more genuine in their mechanism and opening.
A lamborghini should have lambo doors, just stands to reason.
